Welcoming exhibitors from all over the world, SIAL is an international meeting place for export-oriented companies and a showcase for new products and international innova-tions. Alongside ANUGA in Cologne, this fair is regarded as the most important interna-tional trade fair for foodstuffs and the German food industry therefore deems it one of its key platforms in Europe. Both new and established products from the food sector are on display, mirroring the dynamism of the food industry that has been able to remain stable amid the global economic crisis. The SIAL therefore offers a good opportunity to learn about innovations, discuss new trends and develop professional contacts at global level.
The Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) offers visitors to SIAL in Paris the opportunity to embark on a "culinary tour of Germany" under the motto "Made in Germany". German exhibitors are represented in the four fair sections of confectionery, dairy products, meat and sausage products and at the German exhibition stand. They stand for the internationally renowned quality label "Made in Germany" and the German food industry's ambition to assure the highest levels of safety, quality and enjoy-ment in the foodstuffs it offers.
Christian Schmidt, Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture, will also visit the German pavilion and exchange views with the German exhibitors on the chances and opportunities provided by SIAL to tap into new markets and consolidate market shares.
We look forward to your visit to the German stands at the SIAL in hall 1G 050/1G 032, 5a F140, 6 H248/6 H222 and 7 J158.
