Asako Kowalsky has most recently been employed with the Duesseldorf office of the law firm Mütze Korsch and focussed on advising Japanese clients on corporate law. Before that, she was a lawyer in the tax and legal department of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Asako Kowalsky's comment to the transfer: "Especially in Duesseldorf BEITEN BURKHARDT has a broad base of Japanese clients and I am looking forward to becoming even more internationally active in providing corporate law advice. This interest stems from the fact that I am not only connected with the language but also with the culture of both Japan and Germany. BEITEN BURKHARDT's principle to offer advisory services with teams across many locations, definitely influenced my decision to work with this international law firm. I expect a broader platform for cross-border transactions and investments of my clients."
"We are proud that, with Asako Kowalsky, we recruited an experienced specialist and can therefore provide our Japanese clients with comprehensive advice in their native language. Against the background of the strategic development of our Duesseldorf office, her specific knowledge and experience make her an ideal addition to our team ", says Dr. Knut Schulte, head of the Duesseldorf office.
Asako Kowalsky has been elected as Salary Partner by the BEITEN BURKHARDT partners and it is the intention of both sides that Asako Kowalsky contributes to the further internationalisation of BEITEN BURKHARDT's Duesseldorf office.
