The USDA has raised its estimates for world production and consumption of rapeseed.
In the current report on global supply and demand, the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) estimated world rapeseed production in the current crop year at around 87.2 million tonnes. This is up 900.000 tonnes on the previous month's forecast. Rapeseed production in the previous crop year was around 14.5 per cent lower at 74.5 million tonnes.
