European Appointment for Germany in ENAT Board - Rüdiger Leidner of the DBSV
Managing Director of ENAT, Mr Ivor Ambrose, went on to say: "We warmly welcome Rüdiger Leidner to the ENAT Board. He brings not only his expertise as a German national and European economist but - since he is President of Tourism for All Germany (NatKo) - also a wealth of experience on matters concerning people with disabilities, with particular reference to the tourism sector. Rüdiger joins the ENAT Board at a time when we are developing new European and Global products for our members, enabling tourism businesses and destinations to work in a qualified way to welcome all tourists, and we look forward to bringing German experiences and methods into this work as an additional guarantee of quality".
Mr. Leidner said: "Since tourism is the cross-boarder issue par excellence, the interests and needs of travellers with disabilities must be organised on an international level as well. I am happy and honoured to bring my experience in that field to the ENAT Board, to intensify the cooperation with ENAT that I already had as delegate of the German Blind and Partially-Sighted Union in the Annual General Assembly of ENAT."
The mission of the European Network for Accessible Tourism is to make European tourism destinations, products and services accessible to all travellers and to promote accessible tourism around the world.
