Thomas Benkert (68) wurde heute als Ehrenpräsident der Bundesapothekerkammer (BAK) ausgezeichnet. Diese Ehrung des BAK-Vorstands wurde bei der heutigen Mitgliederversammlung erstmals überreicht. Benkert war von 2020 bis 2024 Präsident und von 2013 bis 2020 Vizepräsident der BAK. Dr. Armin Hoffmann, seit 2025 BAK-Präsident, würdigte Benkert für seine vielfältigen Verdienste auf Bundes- und Landesebene. „Der Vorstand der Bundesapothekerkammer hat entschieden, das besondere Engagement von Thomas Benkert auch besonders zu ehren. Die Weiterentwicklung der apothekerlichen Berufsausübung lag ihm immer besonders am Herzen – dafür danken wir Thomas Benkert.“
