MTV’s Best. Show. Ever. represents Swatch’s first pan-European multi-platform partnership with MTV, and includes the TV series, dedicated website and viewer competition. Swatch’s total integration with MTV’s Best. Show. Ever.—from concept to completion—provides the watch retailer with a credible and relevant youth-focused marketing platform that supports the brand’s commitment to making a strong, lasting impression among the youth audience.

MTV’s Best. Show. Ever. will be comprised of 12 five-minute shows created exclusively from submitted viewer footage. The series will run for 12 weeks across MTV channels in Europe, premiering on 14 July 2007 and running through to mid-October. The show’s on-air promotional spots will direct viewers to the Saturday afternoon premiere. Additional promotions will appear on the company’s broadband network, MTV Overdrive, and regional websites. This strategy further underscores MTV’s commitment to reach and resonate with youths across multiple mediums, in this case TV and online.
In keeping with the 100% user-generated style of the show, all of the presenters for MTV’s Best. Show. Ever. will also be exclusively chosen from submitted viewer footage. To have a chance at being one of the presenters, viewers will be asked to download the script from www.mtvbestshowever.com, film themselves presenting, and then upload their clip to the show’s dedicated website.
