As a high-end product for industrial lighting, the T5 HO XT from OSRAM once again confirms the technological lead of the lighting manufacturer in the area of T5 lamps. The new model boasts a significant advantage: with a useful life up by 230% on conventional pendants, the T5 HO XT is particularly suitable for use in luminaires with difficult access - making it ideal for the illumination of industrial halls or production sites. The T5 HO XT is available in wattages of 54 W and 80 W.
Patented lamp technology for improved light quality
A further trade fair highlight in 2008 will be the innovative metal halide lamps from OSRAM. With its white, highly efficient light, the POWERBALL HCI, for example, follows the trend of street or shop lighting, while its spherical ceramic arc tube - an OSRAM patent - ensures excellent luminous efficacy of up to 100lm/W. Its different outputs from 20 to 400 W allow for a particularly flexible and virtually universal use of the lamp. In classic quartz technology, OSRAM plans to present a real innovation with increased efficiency and improved lighting technology.
PARATHOM® CLASSIC: Strong colours both indoors and out
The PARATHOM® CLASSIC, on the other hand, is a coloured LED lamp for effective lighting design in rooms and outdoor settings. Their classic bulb shape with E27 and E14 fixtures facilitates the replacement of coloured incandescent lamps of up to 25 W. Synchronised colour change with smooth transitions guarantees attractive lighting effects. The PARATHOM® CLASSIC lamps are fitted with OSRAM High Flux LED and RGB MultiLED as a real energy saving option: the innovative LED technology reduces their power consumption to around 1 W.
Vivid illumination: Luther Church as Luminale project
As impressive as the indoor animation is the outdoor lighting installation for the Luminale. In cooperation with Traxon Technologies, OSRAM plans to light up the Luther Church in Frankfurt. An innovative lighting control system facilitates an installation that actively involves the visitors. The colours of the flanking glass buildings of the church can be controlled using the new OSRAM "wallmount unit" for RGB lighting effects, while the lighting design of the steeple can be changed through sound via a microphone. With this innovative lighting concept, the Luther Church in Frankfurt will again be part of the Luminale for the third time, after 2004 and 2006.
Further highlights of the wide product range will be on display at the OSRAM trade fair stand in Hall 2.0, Stand B 50. For further information visit www.osram.de.
