After nine days of Drupa, Austrian printers have snapped up yet another of KBA-Metronic's Genius 52UV presses. With the able support of KBA's Austrian subsidiary, KBA-Mödling, MSSDigitaldruck in Graz will soon realise its dream of converting to waterless, keyless UV technology.
The press specified is a five-colour version that allows the application of a spot colour or a coating. The Genius 52UV has a maximum production speed of 8,000 sheets per hour. The used plates can be ejected and the new ones mounted in a mere five minutes or so, and the press runs up to saleable colour in just a few sheets. So job changes on the Genius 52UV are exceptionally fast.
