Audi S6. The name evokes a dynamic sports model. Powerful. Fast. Turbocharged. With a large-displacement engine. And, above all, with a classic petrol engine. The latest-generation S6, based on the A6 C8, ticks most of these boxes. The last one, however, does not apply – at least not in Europe. Unlike in the rest of the world, the S6 was delivered to European customers with a 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine. This is by no means a drawback, as the diesel-powered executive car delivers effortless performance thanks not only to its nearly 350 hp, but above all thanks to its massive 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque.
