The impression may be misleading, but there seem to be very few Ford Mustang GTs that are left completely in their original state. The American muscle car is traditionally predestined for refinement. And a large number of drivers have a distinctly individualistic nature. So it all adds up. For Leon, owner of the 2021 coupe presented here, a “55 Years Edition” model, it was clear that his pony needed a series of upgrades. The high-quality rims from Barracuda Racing Wheels were just one piece of the puzzle.
The Mustang stands on Dragoon rims from Barracuda's Ultralight Series. Thanks to the flow-forged production process, these are particularly lightweight. While the dimensions are 10x20 inches all around, the tires for the front and rear are different: 255/30R20 at the front and 275/30R20 at the rear. Leon chose a bronze finish, which makes the Dragoons stand out strikingly against the Liquid White paintwork of the body. The obligatory lowering was achieved using coil springs from ST suspensions.
Apart from the wheels, various other components also contrast sharply with the white bodywork. The roof, mirror caps, and all factory emblems on the Mustang are covered in black foil. The Maxton Design spoilers installed around the vehicle have the same finish. It ranges from the front lip to the side skirts and the rear and diffuser extensions. In addition, side front wings were added below the turn signals in the front apron, and as an absolute highlight, there's an AERO Dynamics GT3 rear wing. The latter is made of full carbon and has German approval.
