Program for the 2018 eat! berlin gourmet festival

Berlin, (lifePR) - From February 23 until March 4th, 2018, the German capital will experience a culinary explosion. The ten days of the festival will provide food and wine aficionados with their fill of masterfully conceived gatherings: 50 different events will be held in almost as many locations, with 60 chefs working the stoves — 28 of them from outside Berlin and even outside Germany. Regardless of whether they're cooking international, gigantic, sweet, hearty or high-proof, every morsel will be world class. They represent over 100 toques and 469 points in Gault&Millau, not to mention 30 Michelin stars. White, red and sparkling wines from over 25 winegrowing estates, including 21 VDP members (Association of German Quality Wine Estates) will be served to accompany the 4 - 10 course menus.

started with only 400 visitors in 2011 and has now become one of the ten best gourmet festivals in the world, according to the "Traveler's World" luxury and travel magazine. The seventh vintage fulfills everything a connoisseur's heart desires: guest chefs like Tim Raue, Marco Müller, Nils Henkel, Sebastian Frank and Harald Rüssel are absolutely high ranked. The cooking locations are also exclusive and unusual, such as the Natural History Museum, the Stadtbad Oderberger Straße and the Komische Oper.

The gourmet festival kicks off on Friday, 23 February 2018 with the Zwei auf Eins-Dinnershow at the Microsoft Atrium and concludes with the festive gala in the Waldorf Astoria on Sunday, 4 March 2018.
