On show throughout the Festival, the Eurobest shortlist exhibitions offer delegates the chance to see and take inspiration from the best of creativity coming out of Europe. In a unique installation, the Print, Outdoor and Print & Poster craft categories will be showcased in an outdoor exhibition on the Avenida Liberdade, just outside the Cinema São Jorge, home to Eurobest 2011. Dedicated exhibitions for the Direct, Promo & Activation, Media and Design categories continue inside the Festival venue with interactive kiosks and Film screening kiosks also available, showcasing all the entries.
An unmissable content programme runs throughout the Festival with 23 seminars on offer from 42 top global speakers. Some of the highlights include sessions from IMPRESA with chairman Francisco Pinto Balsemão, Musician Mariza, Actress Beatriz Batarda and Artist Joana Vasconcelos; McCann Worldgroup with Chief Innovation Officer for Europe Matias Palm-Jensen and Creative Director Robert Lund; Google's President of Worldwide Mobile, Media and Platform, Henrique de Castro; The Coca-Cola Company with Jonathan Mildenhall, Vice President of Global Advertising Strategy and Content Excellence; R/GA's Vice President & Executive Creative Director, James Temple together with Camilla Wallander, CEO of the Berghs School of Communication. Alongside these, the dedicated regional screenings give delegates the unique opportunity to gain inspiration from around the world through 60-minute showcases of award-winning work from Cannes Lions and Eurobest's sister Festivals Dubai Lynx and Spikes Asia.
With networking at its heart, the Festival provides delegates with fun opportunities to relax and socialise with industry peers at special evening events. An evening drinks reception, hosted by DDB, takes place on Monday 28 November whilst Tuesday 29 November sees Mad Sound @ Hard Rock Cafe; an evening of entertainment provided by bands and acts from Lisbon's agencies. The Festival draws to a close on Wednesday 30 November with the much anticipated Awards Ceremony, happening at the São Luiz Theatre, where the Eurobest 2011 winners will be revealed and honoured. For the first time ever, Baixa/Chiado PT Bluestation, one of Lisbon's metro stations, will be the unique venue where attendees will party beneath the streets of Lisbon.
Steve Lane, Festival Director of Eurobest, commented, "There's a huge amount happening at the Festival but it's set to be an exciting and motivating three days. The seminar programme alone will benefit delegates but combine this with over 4800 pieces of work, inspirational showcases of creativity and un-rivalled networking opportunities, then Eurobest really does become an event that the industry cannot afford to miss."
