The Human Resources Summit has been organized by Management Centre Türkiye and Eventus annually since 1995. It is the largest human resources conference in Turkey and Continental Europe. The event focuses on the most current practices, issues and opportunities in human resources.
Kariyer.net presented the award to companies in many different industries, and Polin was the only manufacturing-category company to be recognized.
Polin's human resource team members Gizem Mavruk, H.R. Senior Specialist, and Berkan Madenus, H.R. Generalist, accepted the award on the company's behalf. Mavruk said that Polin was honored to receive the prestigious award. "Our vision is to be the leading company in the worldwide waterparks sector. This means being deemed No. 1 by our partners, customers, colleagues and employees due to our proven distinction, expertise, credibility and quality."
Müge Gündoğdu, H.R. Manager of Polin, added, "Our philosophy is that our employees are the most important aspect of our business. That's why we developed our Human Resources Policy with a focus on recruiting employees who will continuously improve themselves and our company. We work to put processes in place that support both productivity and satisfaction."
Gündoğdu explained that Polin's policies and procedures have evolved through a consultative process that employs a high degree of employee involvement. "This has helped us create a nonhierarchical, flexible, creative, happy and informal work environment. The welfare of our employees is an essential principle for us. We aim to provide all Polin employees with competitive terms of employment, and we encourage all our employees to play a full part in their personal career development."
She noted that all of the companies H.R. policies and procedures are based on the company's values:
The award is especially meaningful to the company because candidates applying for jobs there played a key role in determining whether Polin received the honor. These individuals voted on the companies to which they had applied for jobs, the H.R. processes they liked the most and whether a company qualified as being each person's "most favorite."
Candidates also voted on attributes such as the best job advertisement design based on content, visual quality and creativity criteria.
