COO of Onlineprinters and diedruckerei.de speaks about internationalisation in online printing
"Thanks to standardised print products, the printing market will become even more industrialised and centralised. International players, such as Onlineprinters, play a decisive role in the top league of online printing", Dr. Michael Fries sees the future of the online print service provider even more firmly anchored in the European print market. Successful in online printing with the German brand diedruckerei.de since 2004, Onlineprinters GmbH has grown by 20 percent yearly with its internationalisation strategy via the brand Onlineprinters since then. In 2014 alone, the business produced and distributed a total print run of two billion copies of printed material. The huge variety on offer includes more than 1,400 products in over ten million varieties. In sales, Onlineprinters banks on the European print market: 14 online shops with country-specific accommodation regarding language, national currency and payment systems serve 30 European countries. "We make our offer 'Printings simply ordered online' as attractive and easy to our B2B customers as possible", the COO explains the success strategy in the E-Business Print.

About Dr. Michael Fries, COO of Onlineprinters GmbH
Following his studies of electrical engineering and subsequent conferral of doctorate, Michael Fries began his career as an assistant to the board of Bertelsmann AG and as head of production at Mohn Media in the areas of pre-press and sheet-fed printing. He gained international management experience from his post with the Boston Consulting Group. In his last function as a member of the executive board of CEWE Color AG, he was responsible for the company's German operations and the establishment of the B2B online print shop Viaprinto. Michael Fries has been COO of Onlineprinters since 1 July 2014.
