To have something as rare and as precious as a meteorite inspires a new standard of design. That’s why Lilienthal Berlin has made it the focus of this edition of the award-winning Zeitgeist Automatik. Its design fully matches the out-of-this-world style. The patterned structure of the meteorite is continued onto the textured dial, and the cosmic color tone also extends to the titanium case in dark silver.
Each Watch is Unique
Time in space leaves a cosmic fingerprint on meteorites. Over millions of years, the cold and weightlessness create the so called Widmanstätten structures, geometric patterns that differ in every single part of the material. That’s why each one of the 999 pieces of the Zeitgeist Automatik Limited Edition Meteorite is completely unique.
The Zeitgeist Meteorite is powered by the Swiss automatic caliber R150 by Ronda. Twenty-five gemstones ensure the smooth running of the movement which has a 40 hour power reserve and a date display. The rotor is engraved with the Lilienthal Berlin logo for an extra touch of elegance. To show off its complex and intricate gears, the watch is fitted with a glass case back.
The case, which is just ten millimeters high, is made of subtly polished titanium in dark silver. This amazing metal is extremely light and quickly adopts to body temperature. This is noticeable in the comfortable feel. Titanium is extremely durable and strong, just like the pure Sapphire glass. And to ensure that the Zeitgeist Meteorite shines in the night too, the Superluminova makes the dial and the four main indicators glow in the dark.
As with all Limited Editions from Lilienthal Berlin, when all pieces are sold 5000 euros will be donated to various charities and children’s aid projects. And of course, as is with everything that Lilienthal Berlin strives to do, attention is always paid to fair and sustainable production of the Zeitgeist Limited Edition Meteorite.
