It was one of the eye-catchers and audience magnets at the last
“interbad” in Stuttgart: The dome roof of the new “Dome” sauna concept, which KLAFS created out of copper – a material currently in vogue in interior design due to its warm, natural glow. The copper dome was surely also a hit at the trade fair stand because the market leader specially developed a sophisticated lighting concept that emphasises this unique glow even more.
Felix Schneider, the managing director of the sports and leisure centre “Fildorado” (www.fildorado.de) was also immediately intrigued by this fascinating idea – and got down to business shortly after the trade fair: "So far, our meditation sauna, in which we very successfully offer sound bowl ceremonies, had no thematic connection to this topic in its design – and a modernisation of the interior was already part of his plan. The new interior design with the copper dome makes it a perfect circle.“
For guests, this is another good reason to visit the spa area of the “Fildorado”, spanning around 6,000 square meters, which is also very attractive in summer thanks to its large sauna garden with a sunbathing lawn and a cold- and warm-water pool. The facilities have not only received the highest evaluation, “SaunaPremium” of the German Sauna Association, but also offers numerous special features.
Especially popular among guests and also planned and realised by KLAFS are the panorama sauna with its all-round view from the floor-deep window front and the extravagant interior with walls made of dark wenge wood as well as the organically formed, wide lounging areas and the “salounge”, in which KLAFS's patented “Microsalt” technique is used to enrich the air with extremely finely atomised dry salt that can reach the outermost lung areas – a real blessing, not just for people with respiratory symptoms or skin problems.
Another real blessing are the specially reserved parking spots and the separate entrance for “Fildorado” guests who only want to visit the spa area. “This means you can start to relax the moment you arrive – even on days where there's a lot going on,” Felix Schneider explains. It is just another way in which the “Fildorado” is a very good thing.
