In the OPEL CUP 2018, three top teams play each for 45 minutes. The stadium carries Opel’s name since one year. Opel is the exclusive partner of 1. FSV Mainz 05 since 2012. During the OPEL CUP 2018 on August 5 the famous Opel lightning flash logo will appear on the LED hoardings in the stadium and on all communication platforms.

It is a great thing for us to officially open this anniversary season with the premiere of the OPEL CUPS and we are very pleased to welcome international guests for the second time to the OPEL ARENA, after Jürgen Klopp and his FC Liverpool in August 2016”, said Opel Germany boss, Jürgen Keller.
