PULSION: Contract with leading healthcare purchasing organisation "Premier" in the US

PULSION Medical Systems AG, leading specialist in minimal invasive cardiovascular patient monitoring, announces that its United States subsidiary, PULSION Medical Inc., has been awarded a 36-month contract with Premier Purchasing Partners, L.P., the group purchasing unit of Premier Inc., for its PiCCO product line. Retrospectively effective since July 1, 2008, the new agreement provides Premier's 2,000 hospitals with access to PULSION's PiCCO2 monitor and the medical disposables. PiCCO is the only FDA approved hemodynamic monitoring technology that monitors pulmonary edema at the patient bedside and provides volumetric preload additionally to a full range of cardio-vascular parameters in the critically ill patient.
