Jagen und Fischen 2013 kicks off in a new season

(lifePR) (Augsburg, ) Planning work and canvassing exhibitors for Jagen und Fischen 2013 from 17 to 20 January is already at full speed at Messe Augsburg. The tried and tested is being expanded, while new ideas and themes are being tackled proactively. This means that next year there will for example be two specific topic-related forums, one for the huntsmen and one for the fishermen. Of course the associations we work together with - Jägervereinigung Augsburg e.V., Fischereiverband Schwaben e.V., die Fachberatung für Fischerei im Bezirk Schwaben, der Jagdgebrauchshundeverein Augsburg as well as the Jägerinnenforum (forum for huntswomen) - including attractive campaigns and special shows will be on board once again.

"The exhibitors from 19 countries ought to be pleased that more than more than 21,000 visitors attended Jagen und Fischen in 2012, and in 2013 we may well be pleased to see a few thousand more", resumed Gerhard Reiter, managing director of Messe Augsburg, in response to the successful start at the new trade fair venue. The trade fair will still be staged early on in the year at the request of many parties involved. This means that Jagen und Fischen will be firing the starting pistol for the hunting and fishing trade fairs in Germany in 2013 as well.

For the first time firms selling ordinance-related accessories will be displaying their wide range of products at the trade fair, catering for virtually all requirements. The guns, sights and ammunition divisions are currently being worked on. Next year the outdoors circuit under consideration for off-road vehicles will bring in a breath of fresh air. Then the advantages of the individual models can be put to the test in action.

Since the places in the forum on all the different themes have always been full, the project management decided to set up two separate forums, one for hunting and one for fishing. This will make it possible to expand the range of exciting talks by calling in more specialists to speak about their subjects and in doing so broaden the range of training courses for the visitors. Benedikt Götzfried from Topwater Productions as well as the well-known angling expert Torsten Ahrens have already promised to give lectures at the trade fair.

Next year the project management expects the range of hunting and fishing trips to be more diverse. Last year many of the providers were impressed by the high quality of the enquiries and were very satisfied with the business they did at the trade fair. They have already indicated that they would like to attend the trade fair again.

Messe Augsburg works together with some castles and museums from Swabia on presenting hunting as a culture. The prominent feature of the special show put on by the Fischereiverbandes Schwaben e.V. and the Fachberatung für Fischerei im Bezirk Schwaben is supposed to be a massive aquarium with indigenous species of fish, supplemented by all different types of fish supplement as an interesting extra. The extremely popular cooking shows in the game and fish kitchens will be expanded again and supplemented with a tasty range of local fish dishes.

Of course next year the faithful four-legged companions of many hunting dog pedigrees will be at the so-called unofficial dog shows again and also the main feathered players in the falconry world will be resplendent with their demonstration flights in the open air with broad sweeps and artistic manoeuvres in flight.

The wide range of products on display at available Jagen und Fischen not only provides the visitors to the trade fair with plenty of knowledge by having a supporting programme with plenty of variety and specialist shows, but it also provides a great deal of fun for the whole family and it is worth pencilling it in your dairy right now.
