International start-up programme 'Free Electrons' opens second round
innogy and other leading energy companies globally identify smart business ideas in energy and mobility / Open for applications until February 28th

Free Electrons therefore has a strong action-oriented approach – initiating business between start-ups and a unique consortium of innovative energy suppliers, who are already investing billions every year in the development of global energy systems."

Besides innogy, the international consortium of large energy companies consists of the partners Ausnet Services and Origin Energy from Australia, DEWA (Dubai), EDP (Portugal), ESB (Ireland), Singapore Power (Singapore) and Tokyo Electric Power (Japan), as well as Beta-i agency from Portugal as supporting partner. The companies have an aggregated customer base of 73 million users combined, with operations in over 40 countries worldwide. For start-ups the programme represents an ideal platform for exchange with experts and decision-makers, aiming to develop joint projects and enable investments.
