Alno AG completes two major orders for Asia and presents the company in "A world of kitchen experience" at EXPO in Shanghai

Major orders from Korea and China successfully concluded / Alno holds "A world of kitchen experience" at EXPO in Shanghai

Düsseldorf, (lifePR) - Alno AG has completed two key international orders. It recently delivered an order for 700 ALNO-brand kitchens to South Korea. This order, for a total of 12,000 cabinets that are to be fitted in a residential development close to Seoul, had a volume of more than EUR 2 million. At the end of May, Alno shipped a second major order for 336 kitchens to Hangzhou, one of three project centers for high-quality kitchens (close to Beijing and Shanghai) in China. A further 112 kitchens for this project will be delivered through to the end of July.

"Both of these orders are of key importance for Alno. In particular the successful shipment to Korea was a prestige project for our company. We are very optimistic that we will receive additional orders from Korea in future," commented Peter Esser, Alno AG's regional sales manager for Asia. "Asian customers are very demanding, and we are proud that we were able to meet these high requirements despite the short lead time."

"The customer, a Korean construction company, decided to use Alno AG's products, because he was convinced by the excellent benefits at reasonable cost, and also the products' design," added David Park, owner of the Korean kitchen retailer Cecil Design. "In many cases, customers in Korea require elaborate custom-made products, and Alno can provide these - at high quality and on time."

Alno at German Living in Shanghai

Alno AG's increasing presence in Asia is also underscored as part of EXPO 2010 in Shanghai: select companies from Germany will present their products in the "German House" at the German Living special event (October 13 to 16, 2010). This event was initiated by the German Federal Ministry for the Economy and Technology. Alno is responsible for kitchens at this event, and is thus appearing as "the" German manufacturer for this field.

The company is presenting its award-winning ALNOSTAR HIGHLINE Edition Fly.

The special event is part of the Interior Lifestyle China trade fair. "We are very proud to have this opportunity of presenting Alno as a pioneer for new surfaces, assembly techniques and possible combinations, and are looking forward to visits from leading German politicians and welcoming our Minister for the Economy," commented Jörg Deisel, CEO of Alno AG.
