At that time, I had a business selling promotional products together with a Chinese-Canadian partner. At some point I started asking myself why I am wasting my time with this. After a 3-day business event in March 2014 - that's where I actually met Eric Edmeades, he was one of the speakers - I was loaded with energy to make a change in my life. The week after, life actually gave me so many signs that the "old business" was wrong for me that I decided to close the company right away. And then?
I found my real passion in dedicating my time to a healthy lifestyle - this was actually initiated in August 2013. How that happened? It all started when our then 16 months old son Kian started having ravenous appetite even after an extensive breakfast. So we analyzed his breakfast - whole-grain bread with organic jelly at that time: with agave syrup as it was promoted to be healthier than sugar.
Well, I found out that it was more harmful instead. During that search, I stumbled upon a Paleo blog explaining a lot of food myths. So the next day we started changing our diet accordingly. Not only did it help our son with his appetite but also the skin rashes on my eye (I had this for several months) completely disappeared as well as the back pain that I had almost chronically. Since I was 16 years old, I also had candida infections very often and for a long time - it vanished entirely since then! And there is so much more that changed for the better.
I am so grateful for this new quality of life that I want to share the WildFit concept with others and make their life better too. My focus is on parents. I find it very important that we start educating kids and families.
I know it is hard with today's commercials full of sweet seductions but we have to get our message out there and work on changing the nutrition of our kids for the better. And this all starts with the parents who are role models for their own kids...
The first approach in this direction is my start-up called paloneo where I am developing natural fruit-based sweets, so if it has to be sweets then at least better than all the sugar-loaded garbage out there... The second logical step is now WildFit!
