Hundreds of Interwetten customers from across Europe took part in our competition to win a highly sought after place behind the wheel of a super car. Ten lucky winners were finally pulled out of a hat, four of whom made it through a spectacular qualifying event. As part of the qualifying with the Czech team Gravity-Charouz Racing in Prague, medicals were carried out, while reaction tests were also on the agenda. The qualification itself was determined in a F1 racing simulator.
Reinhard Wilhelm (Austria), Carmen Jordá (Spain), Andrey Barčák and Dominik Hašek (both Czech Republic) successfully made it through to the big final in Barcelona. In Most (Czech Republic) the candidates will get behind the wheel for the first time. The two fastest drivers will then go on to take part in the race in Barcelona. The third and fourth placed drivers will also be present as back-up drivers.
Winner Statements:
Reinhard Wilhelm: “I’ve been playing games at Interwetten for a few years now. As a true motor racing fan and amateur driver I was delighted to be drawn as a winner. I was able to show what I can do.”
Carmen Jordá: “In Spain I’ll be driving on home soil, so to say. I’m sure that I won’t disappoint the Gravity-Charouz team or Interwetten.”
Andrej Barčák: “I heard an Interwetten advert about the competition on the radio and decided to enter. I already had a driving licence, but it’s not every day that you get to be involved in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo. I’m over the moon!”
Dominik Hašek: “I registered for the competition at Interwetten.com, but I never thought I would get this far. At the start I was a little lucky, but in the simulator everything went right!”
