ritterwerk, established by Franz Ritter in 1905, is a traditional Bavarian company that looks back with pride on more than 100 years of history. ritterwerk is a mediumsized company that develops and manufactures free-standing and built-in household appliances that help make routine kitchen tasks a little easier. Since 2010, the assortment of ritter household appliances, such as toasters, kettles, coffee machines is constantly expanded. Under the direction of our CEO, Michael Schüller, we only design and manufacture our appliances in Gröbenzell near Munich. ritterwerk has adopted “made in Germany” as its company philosophy. To us, this means much more than creating and protecting German jobs. It also means meeting the highest quality standards, choosing the right materials, and applying a functional design. In this way, we remain true to the Bauhaus tradition of the 1920s. In the spirit of sustainability, we‘ve installed a large photovoltaic power plant to make a positive contribution towards climate protection. And, we go one step further by using ECO motors in our multislicers to save energy. The award of the environment label "Blue Angel" for the kettle and the toasters prove the sustainable business philosophy.
