At the well-attended seminars in fittingly prestigious locations, KBA and its partners provided information on the latest technologies and processes, and on their applications in the printing industry. In China, too, customers from many branches are tightening up the quality and service demands placed on the industry, and forward-thinking print professionals have long since extended their sights beyond the national boundaries, and to Europe in particular, in order to stay tuned to the latest technical and technological possibilities. Against this background, KBA saw the seminar tour as a vehicle for practice-oriented technology transfer for the dynamically expanding print industry in the growth centres of the Far East. And many of the seminar participants also expressed the wish that the fruitful discussion of European and global trends be continued in the future.
Such seminars are furthermore an ideal opportunity to make contacts and to exchange experience at regional level. Walter Zehner, managing director of KBA China: "The Chinese print industry has developed outstandingly over the past few years. This process will continue, and an ever greater emphasis will be placed on the questions of quality. As a renowned international manufacturer, we are in a position to make a valuable and meaningful contribution."
