An essential part of the conversion on the sample vehicle presented here is the extensive body kit, which JMS took over some ten years ago from Zender. This consists of a front bumper which is both beefy and clear and straight with three large air vents (249 euros), a rocker panel set (199 euros) and a rear bumper (229 euros). The rear bumper does not have any pre-fabricated cutouts for the exhaust pipes so that it can be individually adapted for every exhaust system. Added to these is a hood (349 euros), whose production in lightweight GRP reduces the weight of the Golf compared to the rest of the series. What is more, the VW looks considerably rejuvenated thanks to the Hella clear glass headlights in a Golf 4 look and the new rear lights. The body has been lowered as a result of a KW Variant 1 coilover suspension (872 euros) which also noticeably optimizes its driving dynamics. However, the mounted three-part 8x17” Zender rims are unfortunately no longer available.
As an option, JMS also offers further components for the Golf 3 upon request, such as sports exhaust systems and manifolds. As is customary, all components have valid parts certificates.
