About the series
Under Neptune’s Flag recounts the adventures of the Neptunese, a family of water spirits. Their mission from King Neptune is to regulate storms around the world using underwater windmills. Along the way, they encounter all sorts of historical figures such as Caesar, Cleopatra, Christopher Columbus, and Charles Darwin.
The series consists of 31 episodes altogether, produced from 1985 to 1995, and is suitable for both children and adults. Each episode recounts a significant historical event, such as the Battle of Trafalgar or the murder of Caesar, in a humorous manner. Both informational and entertainment value are plentiful.

The rights and associated hardware for the series can now be purchased all together or in parts. In addition to the film materials, this includes the scripts in German and English. Under Neptune’s Flag was shot on high-quality 35mm color film. There is also a digital Beta edition of each episode.
