(lifepr) (Walddorfhäslach, 07.06.2021) While the Toyota model range had meanwhile lost virtually all the exciting series, the manufacturer has been back on the right track in the last ten years or so. This was not only due to the GT86, the second generation of which, known as the GR 86, was recently introduced, and the GR Supra, but also the GR Yaris, which was inspired by rallying. The powerful small car promises plenty of fun with its stylish three-door look, all-wheel drive and 261 hp turbo three-cylinder. Of course, the little one can also be used as a basis for individual tuning conversions, as this example underlines, which was placed on dynamic rims from Barracuda Racing Wheels.

The conversion of the GR Yaris, whose owner is active on Instagram as “precious_gr5”, was carried out by the Swabian team from the GT-Reifenservice  from Gäufelden, including the necessary special registration of the wheels. They mounted bronze-colored Barracuda Shoxx in the dimensions 9x19 inches ET40 with a bolt circle 114.3 on the axles. The mounted Yokohama Advan Fleva tires measure 235/35R19. For the perfectly harmonious alignment of the wheels under the fenders, H&R springs were used on the one hand to lower the vehicle by 35 millimeters, and on the other hand, black anodized, 5 millimeter thick SCC track plates were used on the rear axle.

The GR Yaris was rounded off with splash guards made of real carbon from the Hasler dealership in Nuremberg and a Milltek sports exhaust system from OPF, which gave it a more concise sound.
