(lifepr) (Walddorfhäslach, 02.09.2019) Mercedes’ Shooting Brake models are cars that have truly found their niche. The concept seems to have worked well on the CLA, so much so that the second generation was recently launched. Its big brother, the CLS model, was considerably less successful, and was scratched in the model change. We’ve modified one specimen from the X218 series – now set to be the only series produced – with high-end Cor.Speed rims.

Characterized by their ten spokes, the DeVille wheels finished in matte gunmetal gray are mounted on axles of this Mercedes. While those on the front axle measure 9x20" (€449), the choice was taken to fit the rear axle with the 10.5x20" deep concave version (€479).

The rims are fitted with 255/30R20 and 305/25R20 tires, with the front pair combined with 5mm spacers and centerings. Lowering the chassis by 2cm complements these additions perfectly and was achieved by modifying the factory-set Airmatic air suspension system.
