(lifepr) (Neckartenzlingen, 16.06.2026) Already at its launch in 2007, the first-generation B8 A5 was praised for its captivating design and hailed as one of the best-looking Audis in years. Accordingly, it seemed destined for a glorious career as a future classic. And indeed, even today, nearly 20 years later, the two-door car with its timelessly elegant lines does not appear outdated but genuinely fresh. This is especially true when the model, as with the A5 3.2 coupe presented here, receives some modernizing refinements.

The visual highlight of the project car built by JMS Fahrzeugteile is undoubtedly its dynamically asymmetrically designed wheels: These are Dragoons from Barracuda Racing Wheels. JMS is known to handle the global distribution of this brand’s high quality products, with the exception of Switzerland. On the Ingolstadt coupe, the wheels measure 10x20 inches all around and are fitted with 255/30R20 tires. With their classic Hyper Silver finish, they also integrate perfectly into the car’s overall color scheme.

The same applies to the components of the in-house JMS body kit, which includes a front spoiler lip, side skirts, and a diffuser. This gives the 265-horsepower, six cylinder coupe an even sharper and sportier appearance. To perfectly complete the optimized look, the ride height has, of course, been lowered: H&R springs in the low version reduce the vehicle by 40 millimeters.

A robust and powerful engine sound is almost a must for a car like this. JMS Fahrzeugteile achieved this by installing a sport exhaust system from Eisenmann, featuring four tailpipes instead of the standard two.
