Velo Highlights for the 2013 Aftermarket at Interbike

Velo Introduces Senso "New Heroes" Product Line for the Retail Trade Bad

Bad Nauheim, Germany, (lifePR) - Velo Enterprise, world leading designer and manufacturer of saddles, grips and tapes for the bicycle industry, are presenting the new 2013 product highlights for their Aftermarket saddle brands Senso and Plush to members of the bike trade and interested consumers at this year’s Interbike in Las Vegas, NV from September 19th - 21st, 2012. Five new saddle models are leading the performance brand Senso into the new season, with brand focus intensified through the successful New Heroes Campaign – launched in May to promote the Senso Performance brand in the retail market with young and extremely talented international athletes championing in their various cycling disciplines.

New 2013 products focus on women riders and “off road”

It’s „Ladies First“ in 2013 for the performance brand Senso, as three new saddles specially designed for the feminine frame are introduced in the Competition and Sport categories Senso Miles WIO (VL 4214 Woman) is the high-tech Competition model featuring carbon fiber injection base and carbon rails. Sport WHC (VL 6124 Woman) and Sport WI (VL 4216 Woman) are both constructed with comfort and contours to appeal to today’s mountain biking and trekking women cyclists, offering options such as cooling O-Zone air flow comfort, Double Density shock absorbing base or V-Mount accessory holder. Also new are two Senso saddle models Sport I and Sport II, saddles in the Performance category especially designed for the demanding needs of masculine mountain bikers and trekking cyclists. All five new Senso saddles feature the special shock absorbing qualities of Velo’s patented ArcTech® rail suspension system, and has received new design and color accents to appeal to the trend and fashion-savvy 2013 retail customer.
A unisex model from the Inclined series, TrimFlexTour ux (VL 3293), is a new product highlight for the Velo comfort brand Plush, With wide saddle berth and superior padding, this saddle has been specially developed for the long-distance recreational rider. Also highlighted in the Plush line are the timely Tour-e Sport and Tour-e Soft Relaxed models for e-bikes, designed with easy-grip handles especially suited for taming heavy e-bikes.

Excellent returns through active athlete involvement

Velo continues into the 2013 season with increased focus on its Performance brand Senso.
The New Heroes campaign, whose outstanding team athletes and authentic testimonials have already shown resounding success for the Senso brand – this positioned to provide achieving young athletes at the outset of their careers with superior saddle products at true value-for-money prices. Velo thanks the outstanding athletic contribution of its team members this season for their outstanding achievements, which have far surpassed all original positive expectations.
Using the Senso saddles on a daily basis in genuine competition and training situations, these athletes provide continuous and generous feedback regarding quality and material characteristics, enabling exceptional insight for ongoing product optimization and development. Supported by the invaluable experience of their athletes, Velo’s products benefit constantly through improved quality, acceptance and market competitiveness.

Velo is looking to create wide-spread retail positioning of the New Heroes Campaign with the aid of its North American partners. To this end, Velo is providing its distributors with a variety of communication and advertising tools, such as the new Senso product brochure “New Heroes – Destined for Great Things”, for the aftermarket – designed in New Heroes “look” and associating the new Senso products directly with the athletes and their respective disciplines.

Senso New Heroes and Miles 1200 Saddles to win at Velo Booth 19012

Signed by New Heroes from the New World and the Old, two Miles 1200 Senso saddles – the model Maris Strombergs rode to victorious Gold in London – are being raffled off to all trade visitors offering their business cards. Throughout Interbike, Senso New Heroes will be on hand signing the Senso Team posters at special autographing sessions.
