The Travel Almanac

Founded in 2010, The Travel Almanac is the fi rst true post-tourism publication, featuring industry leaders from an art-, fashion-, fi lm- and design-background. It combines the immediacy and visibility of a magazine with the longevity and elegance of a book.

TTA focuses on the subjective experience of how movement and location permeate all aspects of contemporary life. Since its inception, The Travel Almanac has been infl uential in re-defi ning the genre of pop-culture publications by exploring the creative world's opinions on travel and its accoutrement. The Travel Almanac was launched as a response to an expanding market of highly-informed and sophisticated travelers and the emergence of a truly connected international creative industry. Countless collaborations with iconic fi gures like David Lynch, Hari Nef, Juergen Teller, Collier Schorr, Isabelle Huppert, Richard Prince, Harmony Korine, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Helmut Lang have broadened the concept of traveling and established The Travel Almanac as one of the most trusted magazine publications worldwide.

The website, with its new addition TTA Places, features original content on places and people that are relevant to the current cultural discourse, from interviews with creative innovators to reportages of places that mark present history. Like its sibling biannual print title, the site, its team and international contributors are dedicated to bringing its followers to the essence of the featured subject matters.
