BEITEN BURKHARDT Advises EOP Biodiesel AG on Sale of Majority Interest in ABID Biotreibstoffe AG

(lifePR) (Frankfurt am Main, ) International business law firm BEITEN BURKHARDT has advised EOP Biodiesel AG on the sale of their majority interest in ABID Biotreibstoffe AG and the issuance of a convertible bond for shares in ABID Biotreibstoffe AG as well as the release of a guarantee of Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien AG.

EOP Biodiesel AG with its registered offices in Pritzwalk (Brandenburg) is specialised in the manufacture of biodiesel for the mineral oil industry and held about 61.5% of the shares in Austrian ABID Biotreibstoffe AG which has its registered offices in Vienna, Austria, and runs a biodiesel plant in Hohenau an der March (Lower Austria).

The shares in ABID Biotreibstoffe AG and the convertible bond for another about 4.5% of the ABID Biotreibstoffe AG shares have been acquired by a financial investor specialising in restructuring troubled industrial enterprises. It has been agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
