(lifepr) Darmstadt/Singapore, 12.12.2008,
Publish Asia 2009 will be held in Bangkok from 27 to 29 May. IFRA's top Asian event has been revamped extensively and will now offer three focused conferences running concurrently. With the economic crisis as a background, PA '09 will help Asia media companies to improve their cost control and to identify new revenue opportunities. (www.publishasia.com). In its 9th consecutive edition, Publish Asia aims more than ever to create the most exciting learning and meeting platform for the Asian newspaper industry. It will include the following:
The CEO Conclave, conceived for senior management executives, aims to cover business issues that are current and relevant to Asian publishers.
The Newsroom Summit will tackle the problems and challenges facing Editors, Managing Editors, News Editors, Chief Reporters and all those who are involved in leading and managing newsrooms in a multiple media environment.
The Production Conference, aimed especially at technical and production directors, prepress and plant managers as well as IT heads who are tasked with managing the publishing and printing operations, will concentrate on new technologies and trends with a special emphasis on cost-saving tools and techniques in production.
One-day, in-depth learning seminars on specific topics will offer additional reasons to make your trip to Bangkok worthwhile.
Other events held at Publish Asia will include an Expo showcasing the latest technology and service offerings to the newspaper industry as well as on-site visits to cutting-edge media houses in Bangkok. Last but not least, the winners of the much-awaited Asia Media Awards 2009 will be presented during the Asia Media Awards Gala Dinner on May 28. The deadline for submission to IFRA's Asia Media Awards is 30 January 2009. (www.ifra.com/asiamediaawards).
