APG|SGA Traffic wins two key mandates for transit advertising on Switzerland's largest urban transport network

(lifePR) (Genève, ) On 12 June 2015, the Zurich transport network (ZVV) awarded three mandates (lots) for commercial advertising spaces in and on public transport. This was subject to the proviso that the three lots had to be awarded to at least two different providers. APG|SGA Traffic has been awarded two lots and thus retains the right to market and develop all its products in and on the buses. These licenses include all the transport companies specified in the tender: PostBus region Zurich, Sihltal Uetliberg Bahn, Verkehrsbetriebe Glattal, Zürichsee Schifffahrtsgesellschaft, Verkehrsbetriebe Zürichsee und Oberland, and Stadtbus Winterthur.

APG|SGA Traffic first qualified for the second round in ZVV's two-stage prequalification process and submitted its definitive offer in mid-May. On 12 June 2015, APG|SGA Traffic was awarded two of the three lots. These now include the exclusive marketing and handling of TrafficBoards and the marketing and handling of all other advertising spaces in and on ZVV's buses with PostBus region Zurich, Sihltal Uetliberg Bahn, Verkehrsbetriebe Glattal, Zürichsee Schifffahrtsgesellschaft, Verkehrsbetriebe Zürichsee und Oberland, and Stadtbus Winterthur.

APG|SGA Traffic won out with its cost-effective quotation and professional sales concept, scoring highly for its outstanding service quality. The conditions of the tender stipulated that the three lots must be awarded to at least two candidates. With the attractive lots 1 (marketing of TrafficBoards) and 2 (interior and exterior spaces), APG|SGA Traffic has secured the right to advertise on more than 454 vehicles.
